OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY
The Ol Pejeta Conservancy is a 90,000-acre (360 km2) not-for-profitwildlife conservancy in Central Kenya’s Laikipia County. It is situated on the equator west of Nanyuki, between the foothills of the Aberdares and Mount Kenya. The Ol Pejeta Conservancy works to conserve wildlife, provide a sanctuary for great apes and to generate income through wildlife tourism and complementary enterprises for re-investment in conservation and community development.
While at Ol pejeta, we always recommend Sweetwaters Serena Tented Camp for our guests The .Camp is located at the middle of Ol pejeta conservancy below the plains of Mt Kenya.There is a water hole at the Camp where a variety of wildlife can be seen drinking water day and night.

GAME DRIVES
With the snowy peaks of Mt. Kenya as your backdrop, your safari in East Africa’s largest black rhino sanctuary is sure to be as beautiful as it is diverse. Find yourself and the Big Five as you explore 90,000 acres of pure wild. The park is known to have a higher wildlife-to-area ratio than any of Kenya's national parks
RHINO SANCTUARY
The conservancy is home to over 100 rhinos,totally to 17% of Kenyas total rhino population.Out of these rhinos perhaps the most endangered ones are the Northern white Rhinos.There are only three left on the planet, and Ol Pejeta is home to all of them.Najin, Fatu and Sudan - the last northern white rhinos left in the world - were moved to Kenya from the Czech Republic in 2009, and live in the 700-acre Endangered Species Enclosure. The Enclosure is open to visitors twice daily, at 08:30 and 16:00 – where you can meet the northern whites and learn more about their history, what it takes to protect them, and what Ol Pejeta is doing to try and save this subspecies.
CHIMPANZEE SANCTUARY
The Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary aims to provide a refuge for chimpanzees rescued from the black market, and is the only place in Kenya where our closest living relatives can be seen. Visitors to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy have free access to the Sanctuary, which is open daily from 10:00 to 16:30.
