Tanzania

Rwanda

Rwanda is a symbol of modern day miracle.Until 1996, Rwanda was locked in a brutal civil war and related conflicts. Since then, this beautiful country has been open to tourists. As a tourist you get to witness the mass slaughter of innocents. Macabre memorial sites scattered throughout the country mark the horrific genocide in 1994 when extremist Hutus slaughtered 800,000 Tutsis and moderate Hutus. Moreover, there are efforts in reintroducing Rhinos aftre being wiped out by poachers a decade ago.Recent records place Rwanda as one of the fastest growing tourist destinations in Africa.Rwanda is shaping up as one of East Africa's premier tourism destinations.Perhaps Rwandas most well known attraction are the Mountain Gorillas found in the mist shrouded rainforests of the Volcanoes National Park.
