MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
Maasai Mara National Reserve stretches 1,510 sq km (580 sq miles) and raises 1,500-2,170 meters above sea level. Add the conservancies and the area is at least twice the size. It hosts over 95 species of mammals and over 570 recorded species of birds.It’s about 270 km from the capital Nairobi City and takes about 4-5 hours by road or 40-45 minutes by flight. The road is great for the most part. there is a section from Narok town to Sekenani Gate that is dirt road but fairly good. The other road through Lemek and Aitong town is not good at all and very bumpy.With the wildebeest migration in JULY – OCTOBER, this is the best time to see this incredible movement of animals. Although it is not guaranteed that the wildebeest get to Maasai Mara, it has yet to let us down. Also, December to February are great times as it is dryer and good for the Big Cats.
NOTE: The Maasai Mara is an all year round destination with the big cats, and all the big game still in the Maasai Mara Ecosystem.

GAME DRIVES
Game drives are designed to take you close to the wildlife rich spots in the Maasai Mara. This gives you an opportunity to view wild animals in their natural habitat as they go about their daily activities. Game drives are done during the day or night time. Night game drives are not allowed in the reserve.However,some conservancies around Masai Mara allow night game drive.
BALLOON SAFARI
We always recommend our guests to take unique balloon experience that takes you over the diverse habitats of the Masai Mara Reserve; fly over the great Mara river, swamps, forests, wildlife & the African Savannah.The quiet, relaxing ride allows you to view an amazing assotment of wildlife from a unique bird’s-eye view. The lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo can be seen frequently along with other animals such as hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, birds, and many more.A bush champagne breakfast is served on landing, on the open plains of Masai Mara. Passengers are then transported back to their lodges & camps en route via a game drive.
MASAI VILLAGE
.A mixture of wildlife and cutural experience in Masai Mara is what makes the park one of the most interesting places on the planet.As you arrive at the village, excited children and adults welcome you with song and dance, At certain times, one of the dancers will jump up and down gracefully. The jumps are several feet high! You will be invited to try jumping -(dancing), too, to your dismay you will be no match for their levitation act.
