The 700-square-mile Game Reserve is the Africa of your dreams, complete with wild animals grazing amid the superb rolling landscape of gentle hills and acacia woodlands. Check in to your luxury camp; enjoy your lunch.. Afternoon game drive is planned. Perhaps the most exciting game drive of the year, Wildebeest gather in the thousands, excitement fills the air .Towards the river, the frontline wildebeest are fearful of crossing the crocodile infested Mara River, recorded as one of the most crocodile populated rivers in the Africa, but expectant of the fresh grazing pastures on the otherside. They will gather in the open clearings as they constantly try to get away from a big cat ambush. Sometimes it takes three or four days before one wildebeest will choose where to cross the river and create the charge. Hence we always recommend a 3 night stay in Masai Mara to all our guests during July-September.Return to your camp at sundown for Dinner and hot shower. Overnight at Ilkeliani Camp

You’ll ascend in the early morning, when winds are calmest. Watch as the professional crew fills the balloon with hot air. Slowly the big, colorful bag begins to bulge and take shape. After your incredible flight, it’s time to come back down to earth for breakfast. Rest of the day is focused on the wildebeest river crossing with hopes to provide the uninterrupted view of this iconic phenomenon. There is still a lot more to admire; lion pride lounge in the grass, elephants roam past the vehicle, and dozens of the Mara's species are found on the open plains.
